Safeguarding at Wild Roots

Creating a safe, calm and nurturing environment for children is our highest priority.

Children at Wild Roots are supported with care, patience and understanding. We recognise that every child is different, and we take time to build trusting relationships so that each child feels safe, respected and able to be themselves.

Wild Roots takes its safeguarding responsibilities seriously.

  • The setting is led by a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

  • Safeguarding training is kept up to date

  • Clear procedures are in place for responding to concerns

  • All concerns are recorded factually and handled appropriately
